VIDEO: Eagles TE Dallas Goedert Hauls in TD Against Patriots After Review Took Away Interception
By Adam Weinrib

I'm not sure how, after all we've seen in the one-sided review process, the NFL saw enough evidence to strip the Patriots, of all teams, of a game-changing defensive play here. But, man alive, the league actually stepped up here for once. Philly's second-string TE Dallas Goedert capped a monster drive with a ridiculous touchdown catch, but it was called an interception on the field after Jonathan Jones ripped the pigskin away. Of course, the tape showed the refs got fooled -- Goedert was on the ground, and was rightly awarded the score instead.
They're saying on field that before Goedert completed process of the catch the ball was ripped out by Jones. Obviously going to review. Would be a huge takeaway for #Patriots if call stands. pic.twitter.com/CaeQwlfcfo

New England will storm back, surely, but they'll have to do it on a fair playing field. This was a well-earned TD, not a chintzy takeaway the likes of which we've seen far too often in Patriots games over the years.
