VIDEO: Edwin Encarnación Clocks 2nd Home Run of the Night Against Tampa Bay
By Sam Dunn

Time for another celebración! Edwin Encarnación already had already done some fine work this evening in giving the Yankees their first run of the game with a round-trippper in the fourth inning, and decided to make it bookends in the late going. With two outs and a 3-2 pitch in the bottom of the eighth, the slugger unloaded another long ball, giving the Bronx Bombers their first lead of the game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Just like that. One swing is all it takes.
Once again, the Yanks are getting it done with the long ball. And based on the results they keep churning out this year, it's hard to argue with the strategy.
