VIDEO: Edwin Encarnacion Gets Yankees on the Board With RBI Double off Jose Berrios

It was truly inevitable considering the sheer amount of ducks on the pond the Yankees had throughout the first couple innings on Friday night, but Aaron Boone's club is finally on the board. Trailing the Twins 2-0 in the bottom of the third frame in Game 1, Edwin Encarnacion stepped into the dish with runners on first and third and the parrot DELIVERED for the Pinstripes, smoking a missile of a two-run double down the left field line off Jose Berrios.

The three-time All-Star is absolutely locked in as this marked his second two-bagger of the night.
The Yankee Stadium crowd was begging for a reason to erupt and Encarnacion answered their prayers. Shortly after, two more runs crossed the plate after some fielding mistakes from the Twins on a ball put in play off the bat of Gleyber Torres.

All of a sudden it's a whole new ball game and the Yankee Stadium crowd is feeling giddy ahead 3-2.
