VIDEO: Edwin Encarnacion Gives Yankees Early Game 2 Lead With RBI Single off Twins' Randy Dobnak
By Mark Powell
The Yankees offense is in full swing. After putting up double digits in Game 1 in the Bronx, the Yankees are picking up right where they left off, as Edwin Encarnacion notched an RBI single in the first inning off Twins pitcher Randy Dobnak.
The Yankees DH had two hits and an RBI in New York's Game 1 win, proving to be a vital contributor to this lineup in October.
As for Dobnak, the Twins were banking on the righty to keep the ball in the park. While he's succeeded thus far in that metric, Minnesota hopes the former Uber driver doesn't hand-deliver the Bronx Bombers a 2-0 series lead.
