VIDEO: Edwin Encarnacion Homers in Return to Yankees Lineup as New York Routs Rangers

The rout is on at the Stadium! The New York Yankees have made light work of the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night, opening up an 8-0 lead with home runs from Gary Sanchez (2), Didi Gregorius and Brett Gardner. Well, in his first game back since going on the shelf in early August with a wrist fracture, Edwin Encarnacion decided to join the big fly barrage by parking a Rafael Montero changeup into the left field bleachers to make it a double-digit lead for the Bombers.

The Parrot is back and doing what he does best: unleashing his imperial power on the unfortunate mistakes of hurlers around the league. This one just so happened to be a hanging off-speed pitch on the inner half of the strike zone.

What a way for the three-time All-Star to announce his return in the Yankees' 10-1 victory.
