VIDEO: Edwin Encarnacion Rips a Grand Slam to Give Yankees Lead Over Rockies
By Jerry Trotta
Edwin Encarnacion has started the second half on fire, as he's broken out of his prolonged slump. The Yankees were facing an early 2-0 deficit at the hands of the Rockies on Friday when Edwin stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded. Left-handed hurler Kyle Freeman left a hanging breaking ball over the plate and Encarnacion made him pay, guiding the ball over the left field wall for a grand salami.

Edwin has been scorching hot of late, having hit four home runs in his past five games, including this grand slam.
