VIDEO: Electric Yankee Fan Celebrates With Plush Parrot After Yankees Take Lead in Game 1

Postseason baseball in the Bronx just hits different. The crowd at Yankee Stadium was itching for a reason to detonate in the first two innings of Game 1, but Aaron Boone's team failed to deliver with men on base. In the third inning, however, the tide changed, as Edwin Encarnacion smoked an RBI double down the left field line of Jose Berriors to get the Yanks on the board. The Pinstripes subsequently took the lead on a throwing error by second basemen Luis Arraez, and, as expected, the Stadium erupted in sheer euphoria. In fact, cameras caught one particular fan going absolutely buckwild championing a stuffed parrot during the chaos.

If this isn't what October is about, then what is? The answer is NOTHING.

We don't even want to know what this buff will do if Encarnacion manages to smack a round-tripper. It might just mark the end of the plush parrot.

Stay tuned.
