VIDEO: Eloy Jimenez Destroys Longest White Sox Home Run of 2019
By Michael Luciano

It's been know for some time that Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez has as much raw power as any young prospect across baseball today. At just 22 years old, Jimenez is already challenging the "longest home run in the big leagues" throne with this mammoth blast to dead center off of Kansas City Royals starter Glenn Sparkman. This moonshot gave the South Siders a 1-0 lead at Kaufmann Stadium, and it went out eeeaaaasssyyy.

That home run was measured at 471 feet. Jimenez upped his batting average to .234 with his eighth home run during his rookie season.
The Dominican sensation, who was the big piece headed to the White Sox in the trade that sent Jose Quintana to the Cubs, has had literal light tower power for some time now, as this insane home run in a Double-A Home Run Derby will show.

Yes, it was against the Royals, who are essentially a Triple-A squad. Doesn't make it any less mind-boggling to see someone that young hit a ball over a batter's eye in dead center.
