VIDEO: Eric Reid Blasts Jay-Z Over Kneeling Comments During Panthers' Postgame Press Conference

Carolina Panthers' safety Eric Reid has never been one to shy away taking a stance, and he displayed that yet again with his comments regarding Jay-Z's recent statement about kneeling in the NFL. Jay-Z recently claimed that he thinks the league is "past kneeling" during the National Anthem. Reid had some strong words in response asking, "When has Jay-Z ever taken a knee? To come out and tell us we're past kneeling..."

Clearly Jay-Z didn't speak for everyone with his comments over the sensitive issue within the league. Reid openly spoke against the rapper's statement, all the while rocking the #ImWithKap football jersey in support of his former teammate and good friend Colin Kaepernick.

Jay-Z's entertainment company Roc Nation recently partnered with the NFL, and recent reports suggest the rap mogul is looking to purchase "significant ownership interest" in an NFL franchise.

Reid took issue with the fact that Jay was being paid to claim that players were past kneeling, when it is in fact not true. On Friday, Dolphins wideout Kenny Stills was seen kneeling during the National Anthem, just days after a reported rift with Dolphins' owner Stephen Ross.

Clearly Reid isn't prepared to just move on from this whole controversy, no matter how much Jay-Z wants to put it in the rear-view mirror.
