VIDEO: ESPN's Domonique Foxworth Boldly Insists Myles Garrett Deserves to Play Again This Year

It took a while, but we finally got ourselves a "Myles Garrett was treated too harshly" take. Former NFL cornerback Dominique Foxworth claimed the Cleveland Browns pass-rusher, who is appealing his indefinite suspension after he hit Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph in the head with his own helmet, should play again IN 2019, as he believes the suspension handed down was unfair.

Foxworth made it clear he believes an indefinite suspension for an on-field act is totally unprecedented. Albert Hanyesworth stepped on Andre Gurode's head, and he didn't get an indefinite suspension.

Antonio Smith ripped Richie Incognito's helmet off, and he only got three games. Andre Johnson and Cortland Finnegan ripped each other's helmets off and starting landing haymakers, and they didn't get indefinite suspensions.

Where Foxworth slipped is singling out Garrett as a first time offender. Garrett was fined in each of the first two weeks, with his questionable tackle against the Jets in Week 2, costing backup QB Trevor Siemian the rest of the season.

Garrett could end up getting his suspension reduced, but the league could also show some backbone and keep him out for the rest of the season. Right now, his status for 2019 is up in the air.
