VIDEO: Ex-Patriot Cordarrelle Patterson Boldly Claims Winning the Super Bowl Was Meaningless to Him
By Karl Rasmussen
For most NFL players, winning the Super Bowl is the ultimate goal. Hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in the air and celebrating with your teammates after a long season is, for most, the ultimate reward. But one former Patriots wideout doesn't seem to value his Super Bowl ring all that much, as Cordarrelle Patterson told Redline Media that winning a championship "doesn't mean s***."
Those are some bold comments from Patterson, as he is putting the past behind him.
Patterson has moved on from the Patriots, with plans to suit up for the Chicago Bears next season. He'll hope to return to the title game with the Bears, and maybe if he wins another ring it'll mean a bit more to him.
The 28-year-old caught two passes and rushed the ball twice in the Super Bowl, accumulating a total of 21 yards.
