VIDEO: Ex-Patriots and Eagles RB Kenjon Barner Surprises Dad With Super Bowl Ring on Father's Day

I bet you felt really good about yourself when you got your dad a new button-down shirt or a can koozie with something funny on the side for Father's Day. However, former New England Patriots running back Kenjon Barner is here to put all of our gifts for dad to shame. In what could perhaps be considered a more extravagant gift than some new grill tongs, Barner gave his dad a copy of his Super Bowl Ring, which Barner himself was given for his contributions during the regular season.

Barner, who recently signed a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons, has been able to gift his dad a Super Bowl ring for the second year in a row, as he won his first in 2017 as the Eagles' kick returner.

"My Number 1 inspiration!" Barner wrote in an Instagram post. "We made a pact way back in 2004, 'You do your part, I do mine, What’s mine is yours and what’s yours mine," We’ve done exactly that!"

My Number 1 inspiration! We made a pact way back in 2004 “You do your part, I do mine, What’s mine is yours and what’s yours mine” we’ve done exactly that! Love you Daddy I could never repay you for everything you have given to me and taught by setting an example on what a father is supposed to look like, be like and do! I never had to look for you because You were at every game, every practice, every sport from NJB, AAU, baseball, and football high school and college all the way up until I made to the league! I love you and thank you if I am half the father you are to me to my kids, they have the second greatest father of all time because I have the GREATEST! Love you Daddy

Hopefully Kenjon can put together a solid season with Atlanta, and Papa Barner gets to add a third ring on that hand this season.
