VIDEO: Ezekiel Elliott Posts Epic Hype Tape Ahead of Cowboys Season Opener
By Chris Russo
Ezekiel Elliott was always mentally ready for this NFL season, but now that he has the contract he wanted from the Cowboys, he is amped for a highly-anticipated season in Big D. After returning from his summer holdout in Mexico and signing a monster deal, Elliott is taking to Twitter to hype his fans for Sunday's opener with the New York Giants.
Elliott will be part of what should be the best Cowboys team in a long time. After falling to the Los Angeles Rams in last year's Divisional Round, the Cowboys made some big moves, especially at wide receiver.
Though Elliott will still be willing to carry the load for the Cowboys, the signing of Randall Cobb, the return of Amari Cooper, and the un-retirement of Jason Witten will allow Dak Prescott some more leeway on offense.
Elliott will once again run behind arguably the NFL's best offensive line, including their very happy right tackle.
With low expectations of the Giants and at least a partial rebuild by the Redskins, Dallas should at least be one of the top two teams in the NFC East.
Since the Rams' three-point performance in the Super Bowl and the Saints' poorly-officiated exit in the NFC Championship, the Cowboys could be the team with the most hype this season in the conference.
