VIDEO: Fan Miserably Fails at Getting Foul Ball After Ridiculous Effort During A's-Angels Game

Even when you give it your all, sometimes it's just not enough. That was the case for this fan at Wednesday's game between the Oakland Athletics and the Los Angeles Angels as he went all out to get a foul ball but ended up failing miserably.

This poor man put his body on the line for this ball and ended up having to watch a fan who took the easy route walk away victorious. He quite literally looked like he was swimming over the seats as he slid down row after row in pursuit of the coveted foul ball.

Better luck next time, man. Though next time, it might be wise to take the stairs rather than high-stepping and diving over row after row of empty seats.

This just proves that sometimes it's better to take a more simplistic approach to things, as the girl who ended up with the prized souvenir put in minimal effort.
