VIDEO: Fan Sporting Giant Umbrella Behind Home Plate During Mets-Cubs Must Be Out of His Mind

Wow, we didn't know Mary Poppins was a baseball fan. It's nice to be prepared for the weather at an MLB game, but you definitely could've went for a smaller umbrella, right? This guy at the New York Mets-Chicago Cubs game is probably make a lot of people mad.

Not only is the huge umbrella incredibly distracting, this Mets fan picked the worst time to open it: while his team was pitching. Noah Syndergaard could've easily been distracted by that monstrosity.
What's worse is that literally nobody else in the stands has an umbrella open, so it seems like all this guy was doing was trying to get noticed on TV ... or he's allergic to water.
It's also not helping the Mets are getting crushed.

New York fans are quite the hoot sometimes, but Umbrella Guy, please get a smaller umbrella unless you're trying to protect the entire section from the precipitation.
