VIDEO: Fans Miss Minnesota's Go-Ahead TD vs Auburn in Outback Bowl Thanks to ESPN Commercial Gaffe
By Thomas Carannante

A timeout before Minnesota faced a 4th and Goal from Auburn's one-yard line had ESPN cut to commercial during the break. But viewers missed the high-stakes play because the network was still airing an All-State commercial. Hope you guys are a bigger fan of Mayhem than the Golden Gophers.

ESPN quickly cut to Minnesota celebrating after the play-action pass gave them the 17-10 lead over the Tigers. Here's the full play for everyone who missed it:

It surely would've been nice to see this in real time, considering it's already ridiculous enough how much advertising and marketing dollars rule our lives. Do this kind of nonsense in the Belk Bowl, not the Outback Bowl featuring two top squads such as Minnesota and Auburn.
