VIDEO: Floyd Mayweather Gets Crossed up and Dropped in Basketball Game
By Jerry Trotta
Floyd Mayweather may be undefeated in the boxing ring, but the undisputed welterweight champ has some major defects to address on the basketball court, none of which were more egregious than a colossal L he took during a charity game on Monday. While playing in the Second Annual Monster Energy $50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game, Mayweather was anything but "Money" while guarding street-balling legend Bone Collector who managed to live up to his renowned nickname and swiftly snatched Floyd's ankles in ruthless fashion.
Oh no.
The undefeated champ was playing high-energy and high-quality D at the top of the arc until the Bone Collector decided to reach into his bag of tricks with a devastating crossover.
Not every day indeed, Barstool. In fact, it almost never happens. And to add insult to injury (maybe literally), Collector splashed a 3-pointer while Floyd could only watch in shame from the floor.
Do we dare go out on a limb and call this one a TKO?
We can only imagine how long the ever-egotistic Mayweather is going to hold a grudge on this one. After all, he's virtually never taken a L before in his life.
