The preseason might not carry the same weight for the fans, but for some of the depth players on the Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts, their Week 2 matchup serves as a chance to make an impact and potentially earn a roster spot. For Garrett Gilbert and Jaelen Strong, they're off to a good start.

Gilbert was a star in the now defunct-AAF, while Strong is trying to make an impression on Freddie Kitchen to earn a spot on a crowded Browns receiving corps. This connection certainly won't hurt matters.
