VIDEO: Francisco Lindor Crushes Solo Home Run to Opposite Field to Give Indians Early Lead
By Parker White

There isn't a player in baseball hotter than Cleveland Indians star shortstop Francisco Lindor, and this bomb to the opposite field today is further proof of that. Cleveland needs several guys to step up in Jose Ramirez's absence, and Lindor is doing his part by showing off his power. Take a look:

How can a player of his stature have that kind of oppo power? I know the ball is flying out of the ballpark at a record pace, but it hasn't been doing so to right field at Comerica Park too often.
Francisco Lindor extends his hit streak to 11 games with his third inning homer.

In that span, he's hit .311 with 5 doubles, 5 homers, 7 RBIs and a 1.096 OPS.
With this third inning homer, Lindor's hit streak has extended to 11 games, and it's his third-straight season he's belted 25 or more homers.
I know the AL MVP seems all but wrapped up in Mike Trout's favor, but what if Lindor goes on a magical run in September and leads this Indians team to a division title or playoff berth? It could get interesting in that respect.
