VIDEO: Franmil Reyes Crushes 1st Indians' Homer With 2-Run Blast off Eduardo Rodriguez
By Karl Rasmussen
It didn't take long for the Indians to get after Eduardo Rodriguez on Monday night. In their series debut against the Boston Red Sox, the Indians were looking to come out the gates hot, and that's exactly what they did. After Francisco Lindor reached base to start the game, Reyes came up two batters later and put a ball in the seats.
Those two runs could go a long way for the Tribe, as a win tonight could see them take full control of the AL Central, as they're currently knotted up with the Twins.
Reyes now has 28 home runs on the year, but this was his first one in an Indians' uniform. An awesome moment for the recently-acquired outfielder!
