VIDEO: Freddie Freeman Draws First Blood Against Reds With 3-Run Jack
By Sam Dunn

In many ways, the Atlanta Braves may feel like a new team on the other side of the MLB trade deadline. After all, they addressed their single greatest area of need by bolstering their bullpen with a trio of capable operators spearheaded by Tigers All-Star closer Shane Greene. But some things really never change-- and in the case of Freddie Freeman, nobody inside (or outside) the perimeter is going to complain.

Free hugs for everyone! It might not be #OppoTacoTuesday, but you won't find fans in the A complaining.

The star first baseman's 26th jack of the year gave the NL East leaders a three-run cushion before the visiting Reds had managed to record a single out. The stretch run is surely shaping up to be an exciting one in Braves Country as this team races toward what would be its second consecutive division title.
