When you're hot, you're hot. And right now Freddie Freeman's bat is a walking flamethrower. Less than 24 hours after taking Jacob deGrom deep, the Braves All-Star first baseman was at it again Wednesday evening. Only this time, he didn't wait until the 8th inning to get Atlanta on the board. Freeman launched an opposite field missile off Steven Matz to put Atlanta up early.
Freddie raking against the Metropolitans? What else is new.
That was home run No.21 for Freeman in 2019 -- the first time he's cranked that many dingers before the month of August in his career. Folks, its June 19!
