Freddie Freeman won't stop setting the league ablaze with his hot hitting at the plate. The Braves' lefty slugging first baseman added to his home run total this afternoon, absolutely destroying a pitch from Pirates' starter Chris Archer to the batter's eye at PNC Park.

Archer's reaction said it all -- he made a mistake and Freeman just punished it.
The homer was Freeman's 16th on the season and gave Atlanta an early 1-0 lead. After the dinger, Freeman's slash line improved to an incredible .309/.394/.585.
