VIDEO: Freddie Freeman Spills Fan's Beer Attempting to Catch Ball and Licks Some off His Arm
By Max Scoli
If you were playing three-hour games in the hot sun every day, wouldn't you get a little thirsty? That seems to be what happened here with Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman this afternoon against the Cubs at Wrigley Field.
The three-time MLB All-Star made a nice effort for a foul ball as it veered off into the stands, running into a fan with a cold one while attempting to chase it down.
With the new delicious brew all over his uniform, what choice did he have but take a taste?
Wait... Did nobody check his ID?
It's alright, though. The 29-year-old is certainly of age.
When Freeman isn't costing innocent fans money, he is tearing up the league. The Gold Glove Award winner is batting .313 this season to go along with a .399 OBP, .994 OPS, 21 home runs, and 61 RBI in 316 at-bats.
