VIDEO: Freddie Freeman Unleashes 2-Run Blast to Give Braves the Lead
By Parker White

The Atlanta Braves offense has been struggling big time over the last week, but the anchor of this team, Freddie Freeman, may have broken them out of it with one swing of the bat. After Dansby Swanson scolded a ball to center field, Freeman took a first pitch cement mixer and destroyed it into the Chop House. Take a look:
Freddie Freeman just put a dent in the Chop House.

Detroit Tigers pitcher Daniel Norris had an immediate reaction that told you it was hit high and far.
Freeman didn't just pull it into the Chop House seats, of course; he deposited it on top of the building in right field, giving the Braves a 2-1 lead in the fourth inning.
Freeman's 2-run shot was his 14th HR of the year and seventh within 59 at-bats dating back to May 16. He now has 15 left vs. left HR since the start of 2018. Joey Gallo (20) is the only player with more.

Lefty or righty, it doesn't matter for Freeman. He's an equal opportunist and will take anyone deep. Since the start of 2018, only Joey Gallo (20) has more homers against southpaws.
