VIDEO: Gary Bettman Gets Sedin Twins to Save Him After Getting Booed to No End in Vancouver

Gary Bettman booed off the stage? It must be NHL Draft time. With the 2019 edition of the Entry Draft set to take place in Vancouver, Canucks faithful littered the stage with vitriol as Bettman was announced and gave his pre-draft speech to the crowd.
Why do Fans Boo the NHL Commissioner?
Bettman is largely viewed as the worst commissioner in all core four North American sports, and he's earned that reputation for good reason. Whether it's limiting scoring or failing to protect star players to the NHL lockout of 2004-05 season which limited the popularity of hockey as a whole, there are many reasons NHL fans feel this way. Their sentiment won't change anytime soon.
No, you can't hear him whatsoever. Thankfully, for Bettman, he thought ahead and brought out some fan favorites in the Sedin twins to get some cheers just to be sure he could finish his speech.
Thankfully, eventually the boos died down enough for the Devils to announce the first-overall pick and future face of the franchise in American Jack Hughes.
You can't hide behind the Sedin twins forever, Gary.
