With the help of Gleyber Torres, Gary Sanchez, and some lackluster Orioles defense, the Yankees have rallied from being down 6-1 to up 10-7 in the ninth. When Torres sees the Orioles on the calendar, his eyes must bulge from his head. It is already the ninth meeting between the Orioles and Yankees in 2019, and Torres has just mashed his eighth homer against Baltimore.

It was Torres's second home run of the game and a much-needed one as the Yankees pushed to come back late.

The Orioles brought in Mychal Givens to try and cool off Torres bat, but that did not matter as he crushed that ball to deep left. The only plausible solution left for Baltimore is to intentionally walk Gleyber every time he steps to the plate.

Then in the ninth, with two men on and a fresh life after Baltimore catcher Pedro Severino dropped a pop-up, ​Gary Sanchez delivered a clutch three-run jack to give the Yankees a three-run cushion.

The Kraken's 13th homer completed the comeback for the resilient Yankees, who continue to stay hot despite the numerous All-Stars who are currently on the injured list.
