VIDEO: Gary Sanchez Shows Off Absolute Cannon to Gun Down Blue Jays' Lourdes Gurriel
By James.r

Don't run on Gary Sanchez. Don't run on Gary Sanchez. Please. Don't run on Gary Sanchez. Apparently, the Toronto Blue Jays didn't get the memo. Jays infielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. tried to steal a base on the Yankees catcher, and, well, it didn't go well for him.

Now that's a GUN. Sanchez cut down that attempt so fast, we had to watch it more than once.
Gary's no stranger to making people look silly on the base paths; he has a certified rocket arm, and the stats back it up.

Arm Strength - 87.9 mph (best)
Pop Time to 2nd - 1.93 sec (t-2nd best) https://t.co/Es80ilCGAt
I mean, this guy's popping from his knees and throwing 88 mile-per-hour bullets. Let's put that in perspective: his battery-mate CC Sabathia's fastball averages just under 90 miles per-hour, and he gets a damn wind-up. Baserunners don't stand a chance.
We don't see why they would, but hopefully some more poor souls will try to run on Sanchez this year. It's fun to watch the results.
