VIDEO: Georgia Mom Calls Into Paul Finebaum Show Because Daughter Was in Audience Instead of Class
By Chris Pyo
In a hilarious video, the mom of a University of Georgia student called live into the Paul Finebaum Show and singled out her daughter for being in the audience, rather than in class. So much for keeping a low profile...
At least the mom is a Paul Finebaum fan! It's not every day you get to watch him head to your daughter's college to cover their football team, even if your daughter is seemingly wasting her tuition (only for a day).
To his credit, Finebaum handled that as well as he possibly could, turning around to the student and telling her to go to class. Thanksgiving might be a bit awkward for that family, although the mother and daughter's love for the Bulldogs might trump any question of her skipping class, for now.
The show was being broadcast on UGA's campus in anticipation of the game between No. 4 Georgia vs. No. 24 Texas A&M this Saturday. Jake Fromm will attempt to lead the 'Dawgs to a win and solidify their chances at earning a College Football Playoff berth.
Even after having lost Tua Tagovailoa to a season-ending injury, Alabama's still breathing down Georgia's neck as the season comes to a close. We don't blame this student for being a little enthused, though skipping class isn't the right option.
