VIDEO: Georgia WR Dominick Blaylock Carted off Field After Non-Contact Injury
By Karl Rasmussen
The Georgia Bulldogs were already shallow at wide receiver to start the SEC title game off, with George Pickens suspended for the first half and Lawrence Cager out with an ankle injury. To make things worse, Jake Fromm connected with Dominick Blaylock in the first quarter, who came down with the catch but suffered what appeared to be a non-contact knee injury on the play. He was carted off the field, unable to put weight on his ailing knee.
Fromm was already lacking options for his aerial attack on Saturday, but the loss of Blaylock leaves the Bulldogs extremely shallow.
We're wishing Blaylock a speedy recovery from this injury and hope it's nothing that will sideline him too long, though it didn't look good on the field.
The freshman wideout has appeared in 11 games this season, and his reception was just his 18th of the year.
Fromm will have to get past this LSU defense without the assistance of his usual targets, at least until Pickens returns for the second half.
