VIDEO: Get This Little League Player and His Obnoxious Batting Stance off Our Screen
By Jerry Trotta

Unfortunately for the Little League World Series, in-game highlights haven't been the talk of the tournament's compelling regional rounds. Instead, the buzz has surrounded the unusual and genuinely irritating batting stance being deployed by a member of the Venezuelan team. Standing just 5-feet tall and weighing 80 pounds, Delvis Ordonez has obnoxiously opted to use his slim frame to his advantage. WARNING: the following clip is sure to ENRAGE the common baseball fan.

Did anybody else feel a brief sensation of joy when that strike was called on the youngster? We hate to come down on the kid, but it serves him right. Looking for a walk is justified at times as certain situations call for keeping a keen eye at the plate. However, never looking to rip a base hit is just ludicrous and not even close to what the beautiful game is about.
This kid has the WILDEST batting stance we've ever seen.

Folks, Ordonez's base is roughly an inch away from scraping the batters box. And him and his coach had the audacity to complain that a ball that landed on the ground was called a strike!
Get this insanity off our television screens and give the people what they want -- impartial and genuine competition.
