Giancarlo Stanton, through no fault of his own, had to wait until June 24 to mash his first home run of the season. The New York Yankees are still somehow on the verge of 50 wins. Though neither of those numbers add up in any capacity, the NYY will take plenty more dingers of this variety from Stanton, who destroyed this 445 feet to put a monster exclamation point on the Yankees' seven-run sixth inning rally.

For the majority of this game, the Yankees were trailing 2-0 and Aaron Sanchez was rolling, pleasing the BABIP Gods into some hard-hit outs in the process. Now, that is...not the score.
