VIDEO: Giancarlo Stanton Smacks Double in 1st Yankees At-Bat Since Late June

Even the most biased of New York Yankees cynics have to feel good for Giancarlo Stanton, who made his first cameo in Aaron Boone's lineup since late June on Wednesday after being activated off the Injured List for a clash against the Angels. How did he announce his return? The only way Giancarlo knows how: by sending a sheer missile off the left center field wall for a leadoff double in the second inning.

Well somebody looks healthy for the first time literally all season.
The Yanks need to get Stanton as many plate appearances as possible to shake off the rust before the postseason, but it sure looks like the four-time All-Star hasn't missed a beat.
He's only getting a few innings of work in tonight, but he's making the most of his opportunities at the plate.
