While the final week of NFL preseason games are usually duds, Thursday night's New York Giants-New England Patriots matchup had a pretty exciting ending. The Patriots held a 29-25 lead in the final seconds of the game, but quarterback Kyle Lauletta and the G-Men worked their way downfield full of intent. After Alonzo Russell stepped out of bounds on a surefire touchdown reception, the fourth-year receiver had his moment of redemption. With the game clock expiring, Lauletta threw a lob pass to Russell, who leaped into the air, and haul in the pass for the game-winning touchdown.

With that catch, the Giants end their preseason with a perfect 4-0 record (not that that means much).

Regardless, Alonzo Russell, who caught five passes for 92 yards and 2 scores on Thursday night, might have made his case to make the 53-man roster with cut day looming.
