VIDEO: Giants' Daniel Jones Scrambles for Game-Winning TD on 4th Down as Bucs Missed FG Clinches Win
By Scott Rogust

The Daniel Jones era began on Sunday for the New York Giants, and it provided something the fan base has been without for the past couple of seasons...excitement. Down 31-25 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the final minutes, Jones executed a perfect drive down field, leading the team to the red zone. On a pivotal fourth-and-five, the former Duke Blue Devil noticed an opening in the defense, and used his wheels to scramble for a seven-yard, go-ahead touchdown.

Now, with a 32-31 lead, the Giants defense did what they do, and surrendered a huge reception to Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans. With four seconds remaining, rookie Matt Gay attempted what looked to be an easy 34-yard field goal attempt. Instead, the kick sailed wide right, giving the Giants their first win of the season.
The ending: #Bucs rookie kicker Matt Gay misses a 34-yard game winning FG attempt. #Giants get their first win of the season.
