Eli Manning left MetLife Stadium to a standing ovation from Giants fans, having led the G-Men to a win over the Dolphins in what was widely anticipated to be his final home start for the franchise. After the game, the veteran signal caller was awarded the game ball, in what could very well be his last opportunity, in an emotional moment inside the Giants' locker room.

Manning and head coach Pat Shurmur embraced in a hug before Manning addressed the rest of the team.

"Love you guys, I appreciate this. It was a special win, they're all special... There's not a better feeling than a win in the locker room on a Sunday, boys."

Despite being benched in favor of rookie gunslinger Daniel Jones, Manning has carried himself with the utmost class throughout the season. While starting duties are expected to be handed back to DJ as soon as possible, Manning remained mature after leading the team to a win in his final start.

Across 16 seasons with the Giants, Manning has achieved a lot and earned the respect of just about everyone in the locker room. That was evident by the applause the team gave him after he was handed his likely final game ball.
