VIDEO: Giants Release Awesome Tribute to Madison Bumgarner After He Signed With Diamondbacks
By Mark Powell

The San Francisco Giants will still see plenty of Madison Bumgarner, as the former World Series MVP remains in the NL West, with his contract in Arizona becoming official on Tuesday. Considering all Bumgarner accomplished in San Francisco, a tribute was inevitable, and the Giants released such a video this afternoon.

Bumgarner will forever be associated with the Giants, winning three World Series titles and playing a vital role in the longevity of a modern baseball dynasty.
Madison Bumgarner Contract Details
San Francisco Giants fans might want to black out this portion of the narrative -- Bumgarner is coming comparatively cheap, with deferred money in tow.
Per source, Bumgarner deal with #DBacks has limited no-trade protection (exact specifics not known). Deferrals without interest in middle three years. Structure: 2020-$6M; 2021-$19M ($5M deferred); 2022-$23M ($5M deferred); 2023-$23M ($5M deferred); 2024: $14M.

The 30-year-old's been on a steady decline the past few seasons, and a change of scenery should do him some good. Still effective and with plenty of mileage in front of him, Bumgarner can step in and spearhead a Diamondbacks rotation which just lost Zack Greinke.

MadBum always elevated his game when the Giants needed him most, and while Arizona is a team flirting with contention while also embracing the harsh reality and patience of player development, it's safe to assume he'll pitch in big moment with the D-Backs over the course of his contract, as well.
