VIDEO: Giants Rookie QB Daniel Jones Caps off Perfect Opening Drive With Touchdown to Bennie Fowler

New York Giants fans were openly critical once the team selected quarterback Daniel Jones in this year's NFL Draft. Now, he may have converted those naysayers into fans. Jones entered Thursday's game against the Jets for the team's second drive. The former Duke signal caller picked apart the Jets starting defense, capping it off with an accurate touchdown pass to receiver Bennie Fowler to the right corner of the end zone.
Jones went a perfect 5-for-5 on the drive for 67 yards and the aforementioned touchdown score, who was far more productive than Eli Manning on the opening drive, who went three-and-out.
