VIDEO: Giants Wide Receivers Run in Completely Wrong Direction in Latest Dumb Madden Glitch
By Michael Luciano
So this is what they meant when they called Pat Shurmur an innovative offensive coordinator. The latest Madden glitch shows what happens when you go five wide with the New York Giants. Instead of streaking down the field, the receivers run in the EXACT opposite direction. Naturally, whomever was playing this was so shellshocked that they couldn't even let the ball go.
To be fair, this is basically what Daniel Jones sees every time he drops back, so it's not TOO far removed from reality.
This is far from the glory days of Madden, as the defining features of the game are glitches like this that include receivers running the other way or, ya know, three fumbles on the same play. The glitches have almost superseded the gameplay in the minds of many.
The worst part about all this? You'll keep spending $60 on this game, giving the developers minimal reason to make actual changes. If you keep giving them money, these game-breaking bugs are sure to keep cropping up.
