VIDEO: Gio Urshela Extends Yankees Lead Over Red Sox With 2-Run Bomb and Starts Monster Rally
By Scott Rogust

Whenever the New York Yankees are given bad news on the injury front, Gio Urshela always steps up. On Sunday, the Yankees led the Boston Red Sox 1-0 in the bottom of the third inning. With Aaron Judge on first base, Urshela hit an absolute blast off Red Sox pitcher David Price, well over the left-field fence to give the Yankees a 3-0 lead.

The Yankees entered Sunday night looking for the four-game sweep over the Red Sox, and Urshela's homer is making it that much closer to a reality.
By the end of the inning? The score was somehow 7-0, with Mike Ford, Kyle Higashioka, and Mike Tauchman all getting in on the action.

6-for-6, three doubles, one homer, six runs scored... absolutely unbelievable
No, seriously. Tauchman hit over .400 in July. We're serious.
I enjoyed watching David Price pitch tonight in the Bronx, how about y’all? pic.twitter.com/gGlsd6U4a8

Several months in, we're still not entirely sure what is going on with this Yankees season.
