VIDEO: Gio Urshela Rips 2-Run Blast in 1st Inning as Yankees Get on Board Early Against Toronto

You can't stop Gio Urshela, you can only hope to contain him. Actually, given how hot he's been of late, hoping to contain him isn't working either. The scalding Yankees infielder launches his third home run in the last 24 hours when he took Toronto Blue Jays starter Thomas Pannone deep to left field.

Urshela came into this season as a member of the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and had eight career home runs to his name. With that hit, Urshela now has 15 home runs, 41 extra-base hits, an OPS+ of 139, and a .321 batting average. Not bad for an injury call-up.
