VIDEO: Grizzlies' Dillon Brooks Took Parting Shot at Andre Iguodala Following Trade to Heat
By Karl Rasmussen

Dillon Brooks had himself quite the Wednesday evening. In addition to cashing in on a new three-year, $35 million extension with the Grizzlies, the organization parted ways with Andre Iguodala. Brooks, as well as a few other young members on Memphis, expressed distaste regarding Iguodala's handling of his contract situation, which resulted in a few shots being taken on social media. Well, in the aftermath of the trade which sent Iggy to South Beach, Brooks weighed in, and he was pretty pumped.

After being acquired by the Grizzlies this offseason, it was widely expected Iguodala would be dealt or bought out of his contract with the team. He refused to suit up for Memphis, which didn't sit well with his comrades, and doubled down on his trade demands earlier this week.

The beef the young Grizzlies' core had with Iguodala could have created turmoil in the locker room, but fortunately a deal is done and the team can move forward.
