VIDEO: Hansel Robles Ruins Vlad Jr's Timing With Longest Delivery Ever on 100 MPH Fastball
By Mark Powell

We're guessing Vladdy's never seen anything like this in his limited time at the major league level. In the Blue Jays' game against the Los Angeles Angles on Tuesday night, Hansel Robles did his best to screw with Guerrero Jr.'s timing by pausing for several seconds before finally delivering a 100 MPH heater. How is this even legal?
Hansel Robles was messing with Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s timing with perhaps the longest delivery ever for a 100 mph fastball.

Did we love watching it? Absolutely. Should this be a balk? Yes. Sure, no one understands what's truly a balk and what isn't, but do we really need more evidence of an irregularity than this? It puts the hitter at a distinct disadvantage, and while fun for one pitch, could very well have a greater impact on a big stage later in the season, should any hurler dare incorporate a long pause into their repertoire.
Not to ruin the fun, but please put an end to this nonsense, as funny as it appeared to the naked eye.
