Major League Baseball had to get creative with the 2020 schedule to avoid too much travel. That means teams playing 40 games against their own division and another 20 against their respective division in the other league. The NL West is taking on the AL West and we will get what ought to be awkward games between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Houston Astros. Yet rules against fighting are in place and MLB Network's Harold Reynolds shared his disappointment about that.

MLB is reportedly planning to "strictly enforce" rules about not brawling, which means the two teams will have to act somewhat civil. But if a player is beaned, the rules may be broken. Reynolds' message is what most of us already had in mind when the schedule came out.

The Astros were the villains of the offseason before the season was delayed and the Dodgers were their biggest haters. Now the teams will square off and we shall see if the new rules in place are enough to delay any ugly scenes from happening.
