VIDEO: Hines Ward and Bill Cowher Among 4 Newly Inducted Into Steelers Hall of Honor

Four more of the greatest members in one of the gold star franchises in the NFL received their induction into the Pittsburgh Steelers' Hall of Honor during halftime of their Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Super Bowl-winning head coach Bill Cowher and Pro Bowl receiver Hines Ward, along with right end Elbie Nickel and offensive lineman Larry Brown, were inducted during the ceremony.
In his 14 years as a Steeler, Ward caught an even 1,000 passes for 12,083 yards and 85 touchdowns. Ward made four Pro Bowls and was a key member of the teams that won Super Bowls XL and XLIII.
Cowher, who took the reigns from Chuck Noll in 1991, went 149-90-1 as head coach, and oversaw Pittsburgh's first Super Bowl win since 1980 when they defeating the Seahawks in February 2006.
Both of these players should be on their way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, not just the Pittsburgh Hall of Honor. It's impossible to argue that either of these two legends don't deserve induction, as you cannot tell the story of this iconic franchise without them.
