VIDEO: Incompetent NFL Refs Once Again Can't Get a Touchdown Call Right in Lions-Packers
By Jerry Trotta

The NFL's referees have been dreadful for quite some time, but we're not entirely sure what's been in the air throughout 2019, because they've somehow been markedly worse. Well, that incompetence unsurprisingly continued on into the Week 6 edition of Monday Night Football. The zebras couldn't decide whether Detroit Lions tailback Kerryon Johnson scored from one-yard out on a fourth and qoal in the first quarter. Green Bay Packers fans were hoping the top official was correct...

Too good. The goal line officials were spotted contradicting each other on the play. One ref indicated that Johnson scored, while the other depicted that the 22-year-old RB was, in fact, stopped short.

That's as bad as it gets, even though its been the same story throughout the first six weeks of the 2019 campaign.
Teams and fans deserve an explanation for their continued ineptitude, but commissioner Roger Goodell will probably continue to ignore the problem, like he always does.
