VIDEO: Incredible Aristides Aquino Clubs 450-Foot Bomb for 3rd Homer of the Game Against the Cubs
By Sam Dunn
What on earth is happening in Cincinnati? Slugging phenom Aristides Aquino has had three at bats against the Chicago Cubs tonight. He has three home runs. And the latest one was simply stunning. Just listen to the Reds' TV commentators try to reckon with what they just saw, a 451-foot lightning strike that dropped every jaw in the building.
Whoa. Thom Brennaman needs oxygen, folks.
In the words of Sean Corey Carter, "Y'all tuned to the [expletive] greatest."
The scariest thing about this latest fiery riff from Aquino? This is only his 10th career MLB game, and he's still got a chance for one or two more homers in this one. Sorry, Cubbies, this is clearly, obviously not your night.
