VIDEO: Indians' All-Stars and Carlos Carrasco Stand up to Cancer in Touching Moment
By Michael Luciano

Even though Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco was diagnosed with leukemia just a few days ago, he won't have to beat this disease alone.
In a poignant moment, MLB and Stand Up To Cancer organized a ceremony honoring cancer survivors and those fighting the disease currently. Carrasco was able to hear the raucous cheers of his hometown crowd, while his teammates stood right by his side in a show of solidarity.

Even though he isn't in the best of health at the moment, Carrasco was able to support his teammates at the game and intends on pitching again in the near future.

Regardless of what happens on the diamond in this game, this moment right here is by far and away the seminal moment of the 2019 MLB All-Star Game.
The moment of the night: Carlos Carrasco joins his Indians teammates on the field during the Stand Up To Cancer ceremony. They all held up signs saying "Cookie," which the crowd chanted. A beautiful tribute.

For a baseball community still reeling from the death of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs at the age of 27, the sport was able to come together as one and stand behind Cookie.
