VIDEO: Indians' Leonys Martin Catches the Tigers off Guard by Stealing Home in the 8th Inning

The Indians and Tigers were in close-knit ball game Saturday, with a 3-2 score in the eighth inning. Well, that scoreline was a bit too close for Leonys Martin, who decided to take things into his own hands. After realizing that Victor Alcantara wasn't paying attention to him on third base, he took off for home plate.

Alcantara was clearly not expecting the dash for the plate, as he couldn't get the ball out of his mitt in time to throw out Martin at home.

Martin's witty base running extended Cleveland's lead to 4-2, when Detroit was just one out away from getting out of the inning.
