By Jerry Trotta
There's no doubting that both the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Indians were on their toes heading into Saturday afternoon's showdown at Progressive Field. After all, the two clubs are separated by just 3.5 games in the AL Central. And it didn't take long for us to see the highlight and lowlight of the day. Check out Tribe right-hander Mike Clevinger absolutely dismantle the ankles of Minny's All-Star shortstop Jorge Polanco with an awesome off-speed pitch.
And there it is: the sheer beauty of an off-speed pitch utterly bamboozling an opposing hitter who's sitting dead red on a fastball.
Maybe next time, Polanco.
